ASCENDENCY OF STEEL - FILMING

Usurpers & Assassins Motion Pictures will continue filming at our second location for "Ascendency of Steel" in Napier, New Zealand on Saturday, 15th of February.

This is an anthology of stories based around the difficulties of human survivors ten years after an AI takeover and beyond. It brings three writer/directors together to create a world where humans are no longer the dominant species.

The second set of filming will be on a story called "Desperate Weapons" and is written and directed by Andrew Costello ("50k") ("World Undone"). It focuses on a small band of resistance fighters who are finding ways to fight back against their local AI and its human minions.

Filming is expected to last up to 90 days over several locations and the release date will be announced for early 2026.
