As we draw closer to filming, our next rehearsals take place today, and costume fittings take place tomorrow.

It's hard to believe that we have reached this point, and I would like to take this time to thank everyone involved in bringing the first filming of "Ascendency of Steel" to fruition. I know you are probably all as excited as I am.

We are now very close to reaching our first milestone in producing low budget, high quality films, from a team of passionate individuals whose skills and experience are paramount to the idea of turning out internationally competitive films without the huge budgets.

I cannot express just how deeply grateful I am to each and every one of you. I can only hope that this will be the beginning of a new film industry in Napier, and that we will all get to share many adventures and films together in the future.
